Andrew Wood formed A Wood Enterprises (AWE) back in 1993. AWE was a small but growing domestic and commercial clearance company. Starting out with a small Bedford Luton Van and learning from Antiques auctions Andrew developed a keen eye for desirable items. During this time AWE was already laying the foundations for the business that is known today as AKOR Waste.

In 2005 AKOR Waste was formed using the finances from the previous venture to create a total waste removal business, the name of which was inspired by a second hand shop that Andrew remembers called AKOE (All Kinds Of Everything).

AKOR Waste delivers a professional waste removal and recycling service mainly to commercial businesses.
